After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading. I had lost the ability to read for pleasure. But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social. And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT. I haven't stopped reading since!

LOVED this book. It gave me the warm fuzzies yet was totally HOT at the same time. Phoenix is damaged. Dark yet sweet. Gentle yet dominating. Eve is innocent, scared, running away from her violent past. The story line was fairly original and it was nice that it didn't fall into that same old predictable pattern where the characters fall in love, have some misunderstanding causing one of them to run away, and then they have to find there way back together. Rather, Evie and Phoenix stick together to overcome their obstacles. Looking forward to more from this author!
