After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading.  I had lost the ability to read for pleasure.  But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social.  And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT.  I haven't stopped reading since!

I live on Goodreads but I promise to figure out Booklikes eventually.

Be My Boy

Be My Boy - Casey K. Cox This is the sweet story, Owen, a slave who is utterly lost after losing his Master of many years, and Mitchell, the young Dom who sees something special in Owen despite is situation. This book could have been an incredible novel. It felt like the story was just hitting its stride and great things were about to come when it *poof* ended.

There is an art to writing a short story, and part of that art is making the readers feel like they got the whole story in just a few pages. In that respect, I think this book missed its mark. Less was not more. Less was less. I wanted more. I lot more. Because the story had so much potential.

Still, it was a good read and free. Gotta like free.
