After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading. I had lost the ability to read for pleasure. But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social. And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT. I haven't stopped reading since!
I live on Goodreads but I promise to figure out Booklikes eventually.
Stealing West
This was a great little book. Super hot. The hunter/prey, captor/captive motif worked well. Just enough kink and lotsa hot sex. I think the D/s part of the relationship seemed too modern to me, at least in the dialogue between the MCs, but I can't really say if it was historically accurate. Also Leon's transformation from just wanting rough sex to submission happened way too fast imho. But overall I really liked it.
