After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading.  I had lost the ability to read for pleasure.  But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social.  And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT.  I haven't stopped reading since!

I live on Goodreads but I promise to figure out Booklikes eventually.

Three's Company

Three's Company - N.R. Walker 4.5 Sweet and Oh So Naughty Stars (I may round up to 5 stars later)

What I always hope for in MMM menage stories: Three guys coming together in a meaningful and romantic relationship with really hot sex.

What I usually get in MMM menage stories: A quick fling or occasional hookup; or a coming together of three men at the very end of the story without any indication of how the relationship will ultimately work out; or a pornfest with no story whatsoever.

What I got here: Three guys coming together in a meaningful and romantic relationship with really hot sex.

Did you see what just happened there? “What I hope for” and “what I got” are the same! I finally found it!

Wil has left his very homophobic hometown in Alabama after having been outed. His boyfriend, who avoided said outing and now fears being associated with Wil, dumps him just days before their planned vacation to Key West. Wil, needing to get away, decides to take the vacation alone. There he meets Adam and Simon, a couple at first looking for a third to play with them but ultimately finding so much more.

To me, the best part of this story, besides the scorching hot sex, was Wil’s realization of all that he had been missing living life in the closet in a society where his sexuality was treated as a communicable disease. Dancing with another man, holding hands in public, and seeing other men kissing were all new experiences for Wil and he soaked it all in with fascination and yearning.

There was nothing really deep about this story. It was strictly an entertainment read. But those are often my favorite.

It is my understanding that this book is not currently available for sale but since the author's book [b:Taxes and TARDIS|13606902|Taxes and TARDIS|N.R. Walker|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1334744124s/13606902.jpg|19202499] is being rereleased this month, perhaps Three's Company will follow shortly.
