After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading. I had lost the ability to read for pleasure. But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social. And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT. I haven't stopped reading since!

I waited a bit too long to write this review and the book isn't totally clear in my head any more. Yes, I know it has barely been a week, but that's the way it is with me.
I read this book in the middle of a total book funk. I have been having trouble focusing and not really loving anything that I have read. But I loved this. A lot. And it kept my attention the whole way through when nothing else has in a few weeks. That says a ton I think.
The premise of the book was fairly original. The slow burn really worked. There secondary characters were strong. I loved both MCs and found their back stories credible.
I look forward to the rest of this series.
