After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading.  I had lost the ability to read for pleasure.  But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social.  And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT.  I haven't stopped reading since!

I live on Goodreads but I promise to figure out Booklikes eventually.

Overall, this book really worked for me. I am not generally into books with a lot of plot. Here, however, the storyline did not overpower the development of the relationship and was interesting and fairly unique.

I loved both MCs. I connected with them and understood where they were coming from. Adam's brand of flirting and pillow talk was a bit cruder than I am used to but I quickly grew to find it endearing. And the supporting characters were strong. I hated Mark as a "person" for most of the story but loved what he aded to the story. Steve wasn't that well developed but it didn't matter.

What didn't make sense to me was the fact that Jack didn't know that Mark was gay for all those years preceding the book when he seems so stereotypically gay in the way he flirts and pouts and works his sex appeal throughout the book.

Also, the little bits about the retired porn star seemed superfluous and were distracting.

Despite the fact that I enjoyed this read, it wasn't spectacular so I can't round up to 4 stars.
