After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading. I had lost the ability to read for pleasure. But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social. And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT. I haven't stopped reading since!

Boystown: Three Nick Nowak Mysteries
Did I like it? Yes. Will I read Volume 2? Probably not.
I found the stories in Vol 1 entertaining, but I don't think I could read a lot more of the same. I needed more something. Passion? Emotion? I'm not exactly sure. Maybe it was that the MC was so detached from everything that I couldn't connect.
And the story was very deeply entrenched in early 1980s. I did a lot of googling. I felt there was stuff going on I didn't get.
