After finishing my lit degree, I completely stopped reading.  I had lost the ability to read for pleasure.  But in early 2013 I discovered reading could be social.  And in the autumn of 2013 I discovered MM romances and that reading could be downright HOT.  I haven't stopped reading since!

I live on Goodreads but I promise to figure out Booklikes eventually.

Motel. Pool.

Motel. Pool. - Kim Fielding Kim Fielding is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Every book she writes is so different than the rest. You never know what you are going to get, but you know it is going to be good. And despite being someone who generally lacks the imagination to enjoy PNR, I find that the way she writes her stories makes the unbelievable totally credible.

I think Xing's review encapsulated how I felt about this book fairly well and would direct you their for a more complete sizing up of the story.

I will add that I thought that the resolution of the love story felt a little hokey. I realize that it is hard to get a love story between a ghost and a human to work long term but the way it came together here didn't really work for me. But the end of the story and the development of the relationship once the inherent problem of how to keep the two MCs together was resolved was quite good.

Thanks as always to Amy and Pher for reading with me. I wouldn't have had the courage to read such an emotional book alone.
